Kazuko and Nicolas start their new road trip along the west coast,
from San Francisco all the way up to Seattle and Vancouver.

The Earthquaque Trail is along the San Andreas fault.

Fort Ross was a Russian settlement from 1812 to 1842.

Point Arena lighthouse

Salt Point State Park's Pygmy forest.

The Avenue of the Giants in Humboldt, is a Sequoia forest.
The road is slaloming right between the giant trees.

"We feel so small between these trees!"

The Oregon sand dunes are huge.

A little cheese tasting stop at the Tillamook factory. Yum-yum!

We had such a great night at the Holliday Inn in Astoria.

Sunday, September 25, they arrived in Seattle
and went straight to visit the Space Needle.
   

"The view is so nice from up here!"

Then they took the monorail to visit the Market and old town Seattle

And the Ballard Locks
which allow boats to enter and exit the Seattle Salmon bay.
There is also a fish ladder on the side for Salmons.

"Lets go enjoy some nice spaghettis after this long tour day!"

On their way to Vancouver, Kazuko and Nicolas stopped to take a tour
at the Boieng factory where they saw how the 747 and 787 were built.

"Yepeee! We made it to Canada!"

"We found our home! "

Their last step of the trip was Victoria, BC.
